Dan is one of the most kind-hearted people I have known. I worked with Dan. Would always stop by my office and chat. Talked about his weekend hikes and funny conversations he’d have with tax agencies. The epitome of the person that “wouldn’t hurt a fly” and would offer you to cut him in line just because he’s that nice. Among other things, my favorite thing about Dan was his dark sense of humor that we shared. Every. Single. Day.(not exaggerating) he would say “oh you know, livin the dream.” And I know he’s still saying that now. My sincere condolences to his friends and family.
Dan was a very kind hearted friend and mentor to me. I loved hearing about the new recipes he was planning to try out for the week and his findings at the Asian grocery store. He had an amazing sense of humor and was always ready to have a chat. I appreciate the time he would take to listen to what was going on in my life and what was on my mind.
He would bring up pop culture references and preface them by saying it was before my time--and sure enough I didnt understand any of them but it was still fun to listen to him talk. I enjoyed listening to his stories about his family and his weekend hikes to the mountains. Sending my condolences to his family and loved ones. He will be greatly missed 🧡
All of the great qualities expressed in his obituary were shown to co-workers. His sense of humor was very unique and special to me. I loved his smile when he told stories about his family and friends. I will certainly miss following his adventures on Facebook.
