Daniel Quines Larioza, age 61, passed away peacefully at home in Duarte, CA, on April 5, 2026. Born in Fort Ord, CA on February 6, 1965, Daniel attended public schools of Monterey Peninsula Unified and earned his bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from DeVry University, Los Angeles, CA. His career spanned nearly four decades as a computer programmer employed with TW Metals, Commerce, CA. Actively involved in church, Daniel helped Saint Francis Center Los Angeles with computer operations and served as eucharistic minister for the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Daniel’s membership in the Knights of Columbus, Council 6028, advanced his charitable works and held Council office including Grand Knight (2024-25). He studied theology from Franciscan University, Steubenville, OH, and devoted time to strengthen the Church through men’s fellowship and pro-life advocacy. He loved the outdoors, biking, traveling, photography, and running in the LA marathon. Daniel is survived by his siblings, their spouses, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother (and spouse), and his beloved dog, Nicodemus. Rosary vigil will be held at Forest Lawn, Covina, CA, on April 28, 2026, at 3:00pm, and funeral mass will be celebrated on April 29, 2026, at 10:00am at Saint Thomas More Church, Alhambra, CA, followed with internment at Forest Lawn, Covina.
