It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Daniel "Dan" Keeley, a beacon of sarcasm and wit, who left us on May 7, 2022. Born on August 24, 1951, Daniel was a man who never held back on expressing his feelings or living life on his own terms.

Daniel is survived by his  daughter, Kari Halfman, and Son James Keeley, who meant the world to him. He was a father who left a lasting impact on his children, passing down his wisdom and values. He instilled in them a life lesson of living life honestly and to the best of their ability. He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Patricia Paul, and wife Elizabeth Keeley (Stanley) 

A lover of all things classic, Daniel found joy in both watching and restoring classic cars, a hobby that allowed him to appreciate the beauty and history of automobiles. His love for science fiction movies was well-known among his circle, transporting him to a world of endless possibilities and sparking his imagination.

His culinary preferences were simple yet indulging. Daniel relished Turkey Legs, a favorite food that brought him comfort. He enjoyed washing it down with a rum and diet coke, a drink that symbolized his simplistic but refined taste.

Daniel's zest for life was evident in his impressive record of attending the Minnesota State Fair more times than even he could count, which remains one of his greatest accomplishments. He was also and avid lover of Disney World, and the Monorail at Disney World, and had a massed a large collection of miniature monorail trains and sets that encompassed his living room! he had a  love for  simple joys of life.

Daniel will forever be remembered and missed for his sarcastic humor, his strong and whimsical personality, and his unwavering honesty. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched and the memories they shared. Daniel's passing is a tremendous loss, and he will forever be treasured in our hearts.
