Dan the Man's obituary
Preceded in death by his wife, Ethel (Cale) Josso of 40 years March 10, 2002. Dearly beloved father of Daniel J. “Danny” Josso, Sharilyn Miller (John) and DiAnn M. “Dee” Josso (Michael Ocasio), cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and their spouses, six great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. His memory will forever live on in all our hearts.
He retired 2002 from Reliable Springs Wire Form Co., Elyria, OH in 2002 after 43 years of service. A past employee of Speedway where he enjoyed making coffee and greeting people every day. Those that knew Dan knows he was seldom without a 16oz. Speedway coffee in hand. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping for many years, he loved to sit in the yard feeding and birdwatching, taking drives to Amish country, visiting with family, and just making people smile. He was a member of Springfield Assembly of God in Akron, OH where he served on the security team, an usher and lead the vehicle ministry for years. His love and kindness will not be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Dan and his life the family invite you to hang a birdhouse/feeder at their home to remember Dan.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, there will be a public memorial service for all that will be announced at a later date, when it is safe to interact again so we can properly celebrate the life of this honorable man.
