Daniel's obituary
Daniel "Danny" Joslin, passed away on July 8, 2024. Born on September 11, 1963, he truly lived a life full of creativity, strength, and love. His legacy is one that will continue to shine brightly even in his absence.
A beloved father, Daniel is survived by his children, Haley Rea, Aaron Joslin, and Jennah Joslin, whom he loved dearly. He taught them to love with all their hearts and exemplified this in every aspect of his life. As a grandpa, his love extended to his granddaughter Austyn. He is also survived by his brother, Damon Joslin, and sister, Nicole McClintic, who shared in his journey in life.
Daniel had a love for cooking. He was able to turn any meal into magic and always had a fridge stocked with every conceivable condiment. He was a firm believer that Tabasco made everything better (and he’s not wrong). He enjoyed his meals with his favorite drink, a coke, and his favorite treat, popsicles. He was a lover of rock music, his favorites including Kiss, Van Halen, and AC/DC.
As an enthusiastic fan of the Rams, Danny never missed the opportunity to watch a game. His love for sports extended beyond the screen to the field, where he coached his son's football team, a role he cherished immensely. When he wasn't enjoying football or cooking creative meals, he loved spending time with his family, surfing, and generally being around the water. His favorite vacation spot included Palm Springs, CA, where he would spend all weekend in the pool with his kids and teaching his youngest, Jennah, how to swim. The water was his happy place.
Daniel was described by those who knew him as witty, funny, strong, artistic, creative, a fighter and protector. His greatest accomplishments were being a dad, a grandpa, a son, a brother, a football coach, a jeweler, a chef, and an adventurer who enjoyed many surfing travels.
His life was a testament to love and strength, and his legacy is evident in the lives of those he touched. He has been reunited with his mother, Linda, and is now at peace. He will forever remain in our hearts and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
