Dan was a great professional contributor and friend.  We shared some to the same hobbies such as woodworking.  I have a couple of desktop items which he created in his basement workshop which will remind me to think of our friend every day.  We shared some exciting adventures such as a trip to Angel Falls, Venezuela, right Ken A.
