Daniel Jacobson, born June 15, 1940, passed away peacefully on February 22, surrounded by the love of family and the legacy of a life well lived.

Daniel was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his four beloved children. His eldest son, Andre Jacobson, and Andre’s wife Pat, along with their four children; his daughter Samantha Connolly and her husband Marc Connolly, and their two children; his daughter Regina Hendricks Jacobson and her husband Roger Hendricks, and their three children; and his son James Jacobson and his wife Dedra Kennedy Jacobson, and their six children, and Janet Peterson Jacobson.

Daniel was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Nancy Jacobson, who passed away in March 2018 after 45 years of marriage. Their partnership was one built on devotion, family, and unwavering support for one another.

A proud and hardworking man, Daniel served his country honorably in the United States Army for 15 years. Following his military service, he dedicated 35 years of his life to working at the local post office, where he was known for his reliability, kindness, and commitment to his community.

Daniel’s greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind 20 grandchildren, including step-grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his love, strength, and values.

He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his service to his country and community, and the lasting impact he made on the many lives he touched
