Daniel Walker Guido, 68, of Northville, Michigan, passed away on January 5, 2026.

Daniel was a dedicated journalist for more than 30 years, covering a wide range of topics including daily news, construction, and education. He took pride in telling important stories and informing his community, a calling he pursued with integrity and curiosity throughout his career.

He was known for his quick wit, kindness, and strong faith, which guided his life and relationships. Daniel was also an avid Detroit Lions fan, remaining loyal and hopeful through every season.

Daniel is survived by his brother, Douglas Guido, of Tampa, Fl, his sister, Deborah Guido-O’Grady, of Falls Church, VA, his daughter, Tara, of Lancaster, PA, and his two beloved grandchildren, Cruz and Aiden. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Guido, and his mother, Dorothy Walker Guido.

The family will be holding a private service. Daniel will be greatly missed and always remembered.
