I know Daniel from Bonn. We grew up together in the 90-ies and we were at the same high school. I've visited him once in Los Angeles, in 1997. He was a good, brave and honest person.
I first met Daniel while working at Pixomondo on a Roland Emerik pitch project. We sat across from each other and we clicked right away. My dog, Suki, who is usually extremely shy with new humans and often takes a while to warm up to new humans walked up to him and snuggled him right away. That was my first sign that he was a great person. He helped me a lot on that project and stayed in touch. Many years later we got to work together again at Encore Hollywood. We talked at and after work often. I miss him terribly.
