Daniel was born in Long Branch, NJ to Marie E. (Scridlow) Dunphy and Thomas F. Dunphy. Dan's father Thomas passed away while he was young and the Dunphy clan all rallied around their mother Marie. Honor and hard work were virtues Dan learned early and taught to his family. Dan moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1967 where he was an owner or manager of a several restaurants and in the late 70s and 80s in …
