I was  devastated when I heard the news of Dan’s passing. We had grown closer over the years. There will be an empty place in our lives for some time to come.

Danielle was helping me host a baby shower last year, August 2024. I will never forget getting all of the food ready for the party, and Dan doing pretty much all of it. He helped cut all the fruits and veggies for our trays, made his homemade ceviche, and was so eager to help anyway he could with the baby shower. I will never forget thinking “wow, what a sweet guy helping me with all of this” I’m so sad to hear the news. You can tell he was an amazing guy and always loved to lend a helping hand when needed. Rest in peace & may peace find Michele, Danielle, Silas, Briar, Wyatt, & the rest of his family.

I went to Southport High School; Dan and I were in the same graduating class of ‘84.  He was always funny and kind.  My condolences to you and your family.
