We lost Dan 3 years ago today....gone from us too soon.  There are so many wonderful things that make us think about Dan everyday.  His grandchildren, who he loved to the moon.  Chris and I spent time together today and shared our best memories.  Fiona, who is almost 7 talks about "her Papa" and where is he and why can't he come back?

Time passes, children grow and life changes for all of us.  We are lucky to know that Dan lived his best life and he knew it. Many family and friends have reached out to remember Dan today.  One long time friend, Alastair texted me from Thailand last night where it was already May 20 to share his fondness for Dan and his condolences.  Everyone remembers Dan's kindness and his character.  

I'm so glad for the best of the times with Dan and hope he has eyes on us.  We love him always.

Today marks 365 days since we held hands and I said goodbye.  After 49 years together, I count incredible memories, love, laughter and shared adventures as blessings. We were lucky beyond words.  You are missed and remembered with love by family and friends.  Goodness creates memories that last forever.

Chris and I honor you and tell your grandchildren about their amazing papa.  I hope that you’re watching.
