Daniel "Dan" Bishop, 57, of Oak Forest, IL, passed away on June 20, 2022 from pancreatic cancer.

Dan was born on May 27, 1965  in Chicago, Illinois.  While attending Northern Illinois University, he met Holly Carlfeldt, and they wed in May 1988.  He spent a few years working in banking and ultimately earned his Bachelor's degree in Education from Northeastern  Illinois University.  He taught for several years then moved on to a variety of occupations including co-owning a hobby store in Des Plaines, IL, working as a store manager for Wizards of the Coast and as a publishing assistant for Triumph Books in Chicago, Illinois.  In recent years Dan devoted himself to home and garden projects galore until his health began to fail.  Dan is survived by his wife Holly, his sister Karen Schmidt and nephews Michael, Steven and David, as well as his aunt Bonnie Kintner and several cousins.
