Dana Ellen Hames Wertenberger died of an unidentified illness on March 24th at Emory hospital in Atlanta. In life she was a loving wife to Eric, a mother to Lisa, a grandmother to Alice and Juliet. After serving in the Air Force, she became a doctor of nursing in 1984. In her career she was Director of the University of Alberta Hospital School of Nursing, head of Clarke University nursing program in Iowa, and lastly director of nursing at UTC. A noted contributor to the Toller community, her love for animals was well known. Family and loved ones will be gathering privately to celebrate her. We miss you, Nana.
