I have very fond memories of all of the Osthus family who lived with us growing up. My best memories of Dan are he and Sister Annette dancing non-stop. Doing routes with my brother Dave and mostly all the family camping trips we went on, playing board games in the camper on the trip there and the great fun we all had at Fort Flagler! You were loved Dan and will be missed by many. ❀ R.I.P Dan. Thoughts and prayers go out to Maggie and family. πŸ™

This condolence is from My sister Annette who does not have Facebook:

My family & Me meet Dan Osthus through his father Gerry Osthus. Gerry was my Dad's best friend! They both worked together at Galvin's Supply. Our two families got together often for 4th of July Parties, Picnics and Camping at Fort Warden or Fort Flagler. Dan and me loved to Dance and sing to the music of ABBA. You could not drag us off the dance floor! We both enjoyed it so much! Dan will always live in my Heart & Memories. We had so many good times together when We were young! R.I.P. Danny and I will see you on The Other Side. Annette Pinkerton (Bartram)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dan was so happy on the farm doing chores and helping with the animals. He will be missed
Uncle Dan will forever have a place in my heart. Every time I saw him, I was greeted with a smile and a hug, which was always welcome...even though he called me the wrong name EVERY SINGLE time I saw him! 😊 He and my son had a special little connection to each other and were always talking and laughing about something. I will never forget the time we were on the Ferris wheel at the fair, Dan kept asking the both of us if we were ok and made sure we weren’t scared. I must say, that was the silliest Ferris wheel ride of my life and will forever be in my memories. Rest In Peace Uncle Dan...anytime we have crazy weather, I will remember you with a smile! 😘

So sorry for you all. You Are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Sheila
I have such fond memories of playing at Lake Desire at the Osthus family home. Lots of laughter and swimming and fishing. He will be missed. I'm so grateful to our cousin Maggie and her family for sharing their lives and home with Dan during the last decade. I love you all dear cousins and holding you close in my heart.
