Background
The Dan Murphy Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to support students pursuing post-secondary education in the construction safety field. This is in memory of Dan, who dedicated a four decade career to improving the health and safety of construction workers across the nation. Dan received a Master of Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and was a recipient of the National Safety Council’s Distinguished Service to Safety Award. He took great pride in ensuring workers made it home safely to their families each day.
