Background
Dan McQuade passed away on January 28, 2026. He was a terrific journalist, a Philadelphia icon, and a beloved husband, father, son, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Jan, a public school teacher, his two-year-old son, Simon, and his parents, Drew and Denise.
Jan and Simon are blessed with a strong community in Philadelphia. We are setting up this fundraiser on their behalf for anyone who would like to honor Dan's memory by providing some manner of financial support. Contribute
