Dan was a loving husband and father. Dan was courageous. This is what transpired from our conversations. Dan also loved life. His joy and determination were inspiring. May he rest in peace. May his family rest in peace. We miss him. Condolences to his family.

Acum cateva zile, un prieten comun mi-a transmis vestea groaznica a disparitiei bunului prieten Dan Cojocaru...Suntem in stare de shoc. L-am cunoscut pe Dan la Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal unde eram colegi...Am devenit prieteni si imi aduc aminte cu drag da atatea discutii interesante ...si aveam multe in comun...inclusiv fotbalul...aviatia, non destructive testing...Dupa ce s-a mutat in Germania, vorbeam la telefon si ne faceam planuri sa ne vedem in Spania...Dan a fost un om bun, deschis, prietenos, sincer...Condoleante familiei.

Am primit cu mare tristete vestea neasteptatei treceri in nefiinta a lui Dan. Imi amintesc cu drag de firea lui prietenoasa si de bunavointa pe care mi-a aratat-o din prima zi in care ne-am cunoscut la Brasov, acum 34 de ani. Sa-i fie tarana usoara. Sincere condoleante familiei.

News about Dan's passing came to me with great sadness. I met Dan when I first join RR back in 2005 in Montreal. He was a good soul, great friend. someone who knew how to make all round him smile. We had lots of discussions about his beloved Steaua and football in general. I will cherish our memories forever. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family.

Dear Dan,
One of the best parts of our Sunday football sessions, was a round of beers that some of us shared together afterwards. I have good memories of good company, sun warming our bodies and Dan talking about politics, good old days of Steaua or Nadal...I am keeping these memories forever. You will be remembered.
