I was very sad when I heard the news of Dan's passing.

I miss you, I miss our conversations online, I miss your smile. Rest in peace, dear Dan!

Un an in care lacrimile nu s-au uscat. Dane,ne va fi mereu dor de tine, de ochii tai superbi, de veselia si intelepciunea ta.

My condolences to Dan's family. I first met Dan when he was in Middle school, and I was his French teacher. He was a brilliant student. Later in life, we would often message each other on Facebook, exchanging news about our families or wishing each other Happy Birthday. He was very proud of his family, his wife, his daughters and grand kids. He was so happy to spend vacation time in Costa del Sol, where they had a nice apartment. Furthermore, he was a generous human being, with a great sense of humor. I will miss him dearly!

His wonderful blue eyes brought joy, hope and wisdom in my life. He was the perfect cousin.

Dan was born in Romania and belonged to intellectual families. Since his early childhood he was fascinated by planes and football. These two passions remained for ever in his life, and theatre, literature, history, good music and travels added to them. 

Being so passionate, jovial and loving the whole family was more than grateful when we met. 

He spread joy, cleverness and -in my case - constructive criticism. Remembering him we should be always optimistic, industrious and grateful that such an angel touched our lives.

Rest In Peace, my dearest cousin!

It is Sunday morning, it is cold and rainy, the chilly wind from West is freezing.  We meet at the pitch as usual. A round of cheer to the brave ones coming. A nice word from the coach that is always there for us.

We just love football, we will miss you, we will remember you.
