Where to begin with Damien?  From baseball, wrestling, surfing, snowboarding and just having fun, this guy knew how to do it all, and didn’t care if he was the best, he was just happy to be there, and did it with a smile.  Core memory is driving him all the way to Leo Carillo, and not figuring out he forgot his wetsuit till we got there…. That did not deter him, smiles the whole time and made the best of it.  Good parties at his place in the alley in Hermosa, always knew I could count on him For a good time, and his door was always open.

Last great time I was able to share time with  him was playing some poker with old friends that just happened to be in town.  He wasn’t drinking anymore and was able to take us all down (duh).  We all knew he had some demons he fought internally, but he still showed love and was such a good friend…. 

I’m going to cherish our good times and miss knowing he is out there in this world… but find joy that he up there watching over me and watching all the baseball games he wants…
