Dale Lee Strongbear, 24, of Alabama, passed away in his home on June 29th, 2019. Dale was born to Tammy Dawn Strongbear-Anson on January 29th, 1995. Dale was an avid hunter, fishermen, and trapper. He enjoyed participating in a recreational men's softball league, wrestling and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with his sisters, and watching football, and NASCAR on television. He had two young sons whom he adored. He loved giving his sisters a hard time, and watching his sons grow. He is survived by his beloved sons, Derick and Devin, two brothers, CJ Strongbear (Alyssia) of Pine Ridge, SD, and Yanaha Strongbear (Elise) of Marshall, MO. He's also survived by six sisters. Brenda Gann (Mark), and Ashlei Hamill (Jodi), of Sylacauga, AL, and Lexi Steiner (James), and Kayla Truman of Sedalia, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy, an older sister, Christina, an older brother Daived, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to any domestic violence facility. Services will be held by the Oglala Lakota nation and the Sioux Association of Native Affairs.
