Dale Reyné Williams was born June 18, 1956, to Dorothy Mae and Daniel Gilbert Boatner II in Detroit, Michigan. She was the third of four children: Daniel III, Derryle, and Debra.
Dale was educated in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Pershing High School in 1974, where she was voted Most Popular Girl. She also attended and graduated from Wayne State University, receiving her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 1987. After graduation, she was employed by …
