It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a very special man, Dale Laney Nunn. Dale was born in Clarksville, TN in 1968, and departed us far too soon on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Known affectionately to many as Dale, he often preferred to go by his nickname, Cuddy.

Dale was predeceased by his loving parents, Mr. Jack Nunn and Mrs. Shelby Melton Nunn, as well as his dear brother, Mark Nunn. Despite these losses, Dale carried a perpetual light in his heart, remaining a beacon of reserve, kindness, humility, and quietness with strength for all who knew him.

Dale's passions were numerous and varied. With a rod in his hands and the open water before him, Dale could always be found at his happiest when fishing. The simple joys of feeding his ducks, playing ball with his dog Shelby, or spending time cuddling with his cat Daisy, as it brought him immeasurable joy. Yet it was in the kitchen where Dale truly shone, his culinary prowess unmatched and always appreciated by those lucky enough to sample his creations.

Dale enjoyed taking a whip out on his pocket bike. With the wind in his hair and the sun on his skin, Dale was a sight to behold, a testament to living life on one's own terms. Reserved, kind, humble, and quiet, Dale embodied virtues that can be rare in our fast-paced world.

Dale leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and a passion for his friends and his animals. His love for cooking, camping, and the great outdoors remains etched into the memories of those who were fortunate enough to witness it. Dale's housekeeper Margie, his dog Shelby, and his cat Daisy will feel his absence acutely, as will the countless members of his extended family and friends whom he so potently touched.

Dale "Cuddy" Nunn will be greatly missed. His spirit, his kindness, and his love for the simple pleasures of life will continue to live on in those whose lives he touched. Rest in peace, Dale.
