Dale "Irv" Eugene Irving, 68 of Adel, IA, left the party on February 11, 2024. Dale was born March 23, 1955 to Everett Dale Irving and Betty Ruth (Jones) Irving in Des Moines, IA.

Dale began working in the construction business alongside his dad. Later, his brother, Dean joined the business and they formed Irving Brothers Construction in the 1980s. Together, they did concrete and finishing work for many years. Dale continued as a concrete contractor until the time of his death.

Dale was an avid artist, reader, outdoorsman, motorcycle enthusiast and the life of any party. He could usually be seen doing his signature Joe Cocker impersonation by the end of the night. It was pretty spot on.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and companion, Carolyn Chamberlain.

He is survived by his children, Jenna (Kyle Flinn) of West Des Moines, IA; Tyler (Leah Wilson) of Damascus, VA; and Dylan of Springfield, MO; and two beautiful granddaughters, Everly and Adeline.

Also surviving are his siblings Dean (Deb) of Casey, IA; Cheryl (Steve) Olson of Luverne, IA; and Pam (Ray) Morgan of Overland Park, KS; extended family and many friends.

A celebration of Dale's life will be held this summer.
