Dale's obituary
We mourn the loss of Dale Hintz (born 1970), a warm and inviting soul who departed from us on October 10, 2024. Dale's life was one of purpose, filled with generosity, and marked by his steadfast belief in self-confidence. His legacy will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Dale is survived by his mother, Heather Hintz and by his lovely wife, Amy Hintz, and their two devoted sons, Benjamin and Jackson Hintz, who were his pride and joy. His father, Carl Hintz, predeceased him, yet his memory remained fresh in Dale's heart. His extended family, including Aunt Sheila Lynch(Mitch Howard) , Aunt Gretchen Christie(Les), Uncle Alan Hintz(Pam), Aunt Marty Scott (James) and his many cousins from the Hintz and Lynch families, all carry with them fond memories of Dale.
Dale was born in the OC but moved to Colorado at 6 months and lived in Boulder/Jeffco areas of Colorado. He graduated from Arvada High School and UC Denver as well as attending Troy High School in Fullerton Ca and CalPoly in Pomona Ca. He played football in high school and continued playing on flag teams throughout his adult life. It was a real passion for him and, He assistant coached some of his kids' high school football teams. He was super proud of their athletic abilities. Dale loved biking and running too, especially with his wife Amy. He moved his family to Fullerton in 2009, and spent many joyful hours with family and friends there, but secretly, he wished to move back to his beloved Colorado.
In life, Dale held a deep passion for his family, friends, football, and helping animals. He was a devoted vegetarian and cook, and had a particular love for New Mexico Green Chile. He would travel any distance just to savor his favorite dish. Dale was also a beer aficionado, with a penchant for various microbrews. The company of his beloved cats brought him immense comfort and joy. He is dearly missed by his feline companions.
In all his actions, Dale encouraged others to believe in themselves and lead a purposeful life. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, demonstrating his inner strength and compassion for others. His life was a testament to his belief in kindness and help toward all.
We pay tribute to Dale Hintz, a man who lived his life with passion, love, and purpose. His influential presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
