Dale Thomas Hebert, 74, of Forest Hill, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, June 19, 2025, with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne Hebert; his brother, John Howard, His son Robert Hebert; and his father-in-law, Lawrence Kluka.

Honored to read for the service will be his granddaughters, Hannah Laborde, Ayrialle Hebert; and honored to serve as gift bearer will be his granddaughter, Camille Laborde.

Dale was raised in Forest Hill, LA and graduated from Rapides High in 1969. He worked with his father at Hebert & Sons Trucking before continuing the business on his own. Anyone who knew Dale knew his love and devotion to his wife of 25 years, Sylvia. His daughters and their families were his greatest source of pride, Ashley Williams and her husband Bob, Cynthia Smith and her husband Ed, and Lauren Laborde and her husband David; his son Robert Hebert, along with his precious grandchildren, Ben and Asher Smith, and Hannah Laborde, and  Ayrialle Hebert. He cherished his relationship with his large and close-knit family, his sister, Margaret Anne Hebert; his brother, Roland and his wife Melanie; nieces and nephews; his very special Aunt Doris; countless cousins, the Kluka family and countless cherished friends. Important to Dale was his service to the community and all of the wonderful friends he collected along the way, including the Knights of Columbus, the Wednesday breakfast club, Lonell’s house group, his ACTS brothers and sisters, the “benefit cooking” group, and his family at St. Martin.

Dale and family would like to express special gratitude to our Lord and Savior for His guidance through these trying times. The family is also grateful for the compassion of the doctors, nurses and staff of The Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Treatment Center of Baton Rouge, Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, St. Frances Cabrini Hospital and especially Compassionate Care Hospice.

As Dale would say… “them’s good folks.”
