Dale Lloyd Goertz (11/17/1958 - 01/18/2024)

Dale Llyod Goertz, age 65, of Castle Rock, Colorado went to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 18th, 2024.

A celebration of life for Dale will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Eternal Rock Lutheran Church, 2 Phelps St, Castle Rock, CO 80104.

Dale was born on November 17, 1958, to Janice and Elmer Goertz in Upland, California. After graduating from Chaffey High School in 1977, Dale went on to study arts and sciences at Chaffey Junior College. Shortly after, Dale landed a job as an Electronics Engineer for General Dynamics, kicking off a 35-year career in Engineering.

In 1988 Dale met Renee, and they wed in 1989 going on to have two children, Bryce and Kyle. Living alongside his loving wife of 34 years, Dale was the epitome of a devoted family man. His legacy is a testament to the enduring power of love, laughter, and generosity. Beyond his role as a loving husband, Dale excelled as a father to his sons. His guidance, wisdom, and unconditional support were the cornerstones of their lives. He also adored his grandchildren, Cheyenne and Wyatt, and showered them with love, creating a bond that will endure through their lifetime.

A lover of the great outdoors, Dale found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether swimming, biking, or fly fishing, he embraced the beauty of the world around him. His zest for life was infectious, and he instilled in his family a deep appreciation for the value of shared experiences. Dale's true passion, however, lay in the time he spent with his family. His commitment to family was unwavering, evident in the countless hours spent playing games, solving puzzles, and creating cherished memories.

Dale's altruistic spirit extended beyond his immediate family. Known for his selflessness, he prioritized the needs of others above his own. He was a beacon of warmth and selflessness. His unwavering dedication to others was mirrored in every facet of his life, and his generosity, coupled with a genuine desire to uplift those around him, left a mark on the hearts of everyone he touched.

Preceded in death by his father, Elmer Goertz, Dale is survived by his mother, Janice, his sister, Sheryl, his beloved wife, Renee, his sons, Bryce and Kyle, and his grandchildren Cheyenne and Wyatt.

Dale Lloyd Goertz's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his light continue to shine through the countless lives he touched.

Dale was a devout Christian, baptized on December 28, 1958, and Confirmed at 12 years old. As we mourn his passing, we take solace in the belief that he is now in the loving embrace of the Lord.
