Memories of us being new young parents together - with many visits between Madison and Janesville. And the intrepid train trip to the New Orleans World's Fair of 1984 riding the "City of New Orleans" and adventures at Madewood Plantation and I think of you often -

Amy, I am so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. He was a great friend in high school and college, a beautiful person with a contagious smile. His sense of humor was dry and always appreciated. Helped me when studying Physics in Madison, I would have had a hard time passing without his help. His trip to Tucson in 2009 for a Premontre reunion/ golf outing was a good chance to catch up with him. He is one of those truly good people who no doubt is now in heaven looking over his family. May he rest in peace with our Lord.

We are so deeply sorry for the loss of Dale and will always be grateful for the love and joy he gave our family.
Dale was another grandparent to my kids and another parent to me. We have countless memories laughing with him. From joking about being “cheap Butrymowiczs,” to boycotting Cabot cheese, dreaming up ridiculous hats for the Easter parade in NYC, and teasing Amy for choosing to be 12 inches tall instead of 12 feet. I can't remember if it was during the pandemic (because of his hair) or around his hip surgery, but at some point, we started calling him "Old Pappy." Dale was on board for this nickname and together we got lots of laughs coming up with things "Old Pappy" would do. We miss you and love you so much, "Old Pappy."

Dale was in my Premontre class of 1977 and he was also in my homeroom for our entire four years at Premontre. I will always remember him as one of the smartest people I knew and also one of the most easy-going that I've ever known! Please accept my condolences and Dale may you rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Dale’s passing. When I think of all the memories of my uncle I smile because he was always cracking a joke, laughing , or smiling. He was a happy guy…so smart and witty. As a kid, when we were all in Green Bay I loved listening to Gary, Audrey, Kris, and Dale banter and tease each other! You could tell how much Dale valued and loved his family. One of my special memories is when Dale was in Chicago for work and he came to meet his great nephew, Andrew, when he was only a few weeks old. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with his entire family, especially Amy, Daniel, and Sarah. ❤️
