Daisy,

I still remember the last message we exchanged, and I’m glad what I told you brought a smile to your face.  It really stole a breath from me the moment I read of your passing. May you now finally be able to rest, as I know you fought so hard to the very end.  I’ll cherish the time of knowing and working alongside you, and how your smile and infectious laugh left me with lasting memories of you.

With love always,

      Amyjane.

Daisy… I remember your sweet face as a little girl. My sister’s best friend in middle school and high school. You little nerds 🩷 I’m so sorry you’re no longer with us. If ever there was a brave and valiant fighter, it was you. I admire your strength and positivity.

You will be forever missed.

~Betsy

I am heartbroken to hear about Daisy’s passing. She was my very first friend the summer before middle school, and from the moment we met, I felt like we had known each other forever. I still remember us during that orientation week, two 12 yo kids just trying to figure out the school, and constantly joking about the 'buddy system' and making dolphin noises at each other until we couldn't stop laughing.

Then, through middle and high school  we shared years of laughter and fun on the soccer field.

Even though life took us in different directions as we grew up, I have always carried the memory of her beautiful spirit and the joy and light she brought to everyone around her.

To the Pavia family, thank you so much for sharing Daisy with us. I am holding you all in my heart and praying for your peace & strength.

Descansa en paz, querida amiga. Que tu recuerdo brille siempre en nuestros corazones. 💖

There are so many beautiful things I could say about Daisy that it feels almost impossible to fit them into words. I met her when she was just sixteen—bright‑eyed, full of promise, stepping into her very first job—and even then, she carried a kind of playful magic. You could feel it the moment she walked into a room. She was ambitious, proud of who she was, wonderfully unique, and kind in a way that made the world feel softer.

Even at sixteen, she was already becoming the remarkable woman she was meant to be. I kept up with her through the years because she was the kind of soul you hold onto—a forever‑friend, even if life pulls you in different directions. And I’ll gladly admit this: though she was younger than me, she inspired me. I looked up to her more than she ever knew.

I’ll always think of her with warmth, with a smile, with that little spark she carried so naturally. I pray her family is wrapped in comfort, and I hope they know she changed so many lives simply by being herself—no effort, no trying, just Daisy being Daisy.

I feel blessed beyond measure to have called her my friend. And I’m grateful that the last thing I said to her was “I love you,” because I meant it then, I mean it now, and I always will.

Rest in paradise, sweet Daisy. 💚

With a heart full of compassion and faith, I extend my deepest condolences to her family and friends. May God’s loving arms bring you comfort and peace during this time of sorrow. She will be dearly missed, and her life will be remembered with love. 🙏

Siento mucho el fallecimiento de Daisy. QEPD. Mucha Fortaleza para su Mama y toda su familia. DLB a todos siempre 🙏.

I was so very heart- broken to hear about Daisy's passing. I couldn’t stop crying when I first heard the news. Such a loss. Such a beautiful soul.

It was truly a blessing to have been her English teacher at Canutillo High School. The strength of her spirit came through her shining eyes and those never-ending smiles! I’m thankful to have been able to have kept in touch with her through the years. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. May her family and close friends find comfort through the grief and may she rest in perfect peace.

With all my love and condolences,

Charissa Boyce (aka Ms. Saenz)

2007, Canutillo High School
