Losing my dad three years ago was hard - now my second dad has also gone to join the Lord and his good friend.
Uncle, you were so loved by the entire family. The support for rendered to everyone was incredible.
You took me in when I first returned to the UK in the early 80s and your support was unquestionable. You attended all our events and family gathering. You travelled everywhere with us (both in the UK and overseas), You extended unconditional love and support to entire family and friends. You called everyone regularly to ensure we are all ok.
Tears drop down my face knowing that you are no longer here with us. You will be truly missed - Uncle.
Still cannot believe you left so suddenly without any notice. We love you uncle.
Rest in peace. Say hello to dad.

We met Daddy Otudeko over 18 years ago and throughout these years, we found him to be a jovial, caring family man, who often regales us with stories about his experiences of living and working in Britain. It has been a pleasure knowing him. An affable and courteous gentleman, he will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family and may his memory be a blessing.

TRIBUTE IN RESPECT OF UNCLE DIPO OTUDEKO
I heard with shocking surprise about the transition of Uncle Dipo Otudeko.
He was a man very peaceful and humble in nature and totally filled with the milk of Human Love and kindness.
I will always remember him for his simplistic and pragmatic approach to life.
He bore no grudge for anyone and to everyone both great and small, he showed untainted love and understanding.
He was a Doyen in the Family, and he was an ambassador and Icon of Peace and Unity.
He has obviously left his indelible foot prints in the 'Sands of Time'
May his Noble and Upright Soul rest peacefully with the Lord, and may the Lord comfort his Children and the the entire Family he left behind.
Rest eternal grant unto him Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
Good Night Uncle Dipo
Sleep and take thy rest.

The Passing of Grandpa Oladipo Otudeko
I remember grandpa with love and gratitude. He was a unique, kind, caring and an understanding person and a gift to all both young and old.
Grandpa was such a fantastic person. I will never forget his show of love towards me during my last visit to the United Kingdom and stay with him. He accommodated not only me but also my friend. He was very loving, caring and always concerned about our welfare.
I remember how he sent money to me through a post. He kept the money inside a novel and he followed up with a call to tell me the page the money was.
Though we didn’t see each other often, the time we did were always filled with joy and wonderful memories. I cherished him in life and now celebrate his memory.
I know he has gone to be with the Lord and enjoying that peace and joy right now with the Heavenly Father and His angels.
Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandpa!
I will surely miss him for his goodness and kindness.
Good night Grandpa and rest in the bosom of Everlasting Love of God.

Dad, I still find it hard to believe you are gone. Your death came as a shock. I remember the last time I saw you, how agile, & incredible you looked for your age, & we all joked that you were aging backward. I will truly miss talking with you. You were always calling to check on us, we will sometimes spend hours talking & reminiscing. I thank God for the memories that we shared. May your fond memories, love 💕, & kindness continue to inspire & guide us as family.
May the Lord comfort and sustain our family, friends and loved ones. May He give each and every one of us the strength & fortitude to bear your loss.

I give thanks to God for the life of Pa. Cornelius Oladipupo Otudeko, who passed away at a ripe age. Since the death of our elder brother, Chief Joseph Olusanya Otudeko in 1990, Pa. Otudeko had served as a strong role model and stabilizing force in the family. His sudden passing is a deep loss to all, as he was a unifying figure among the children and grandchildren of Mrs. Rachael Otudeko and Mrs. Alice Otafuwa.
He is remembered for his consistent care, weekly check-ins, and unwavering Christian devotion—attending church services independently even in his old age. His disciplined, proactive nature and commitment to family have left a legacy that will be hard to replace. His virtues are commended as worthy of emulation.
May his soul rest in peace.
S. Ade Otudeko

THE EXIT OF AN ICON
Words seem too feeble in moments like these. How does one begin to speak of a loss so deep, so sudden and unexpected even at his ripe age. But surely the Lord takes what is His, and to all things, He has appointed a time.
Daddy London as I fondly addressed him was an epitome of devotion and love. His love for his children, grandchildren and family is truly remarkable and unparalleled as demonstrated by the huge sacrifice he made with everyone. He was a father whose worth can never be told.
Daddy was an energetic, vibrant and a remarkable person known for his generosity and kindness to all.
We had good times together and his laughter was infectious. I will miss him calling me “BUSOLA” instead of “BOSOLA” and our long telephone discussions which usually lasted for not less than an hour each time. I never had a dull moment with him, we always had something to discuss. He radiated, preached, and festered love, kindness, generosity and humanness to the maximum.
Daddy was an encyclopaedia of Nigeria and British history and milestones.
As the word of God says, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. The Angels have gained a son but we have lost a giant.
Though we may no longer have you with us, your memories shared will always be a part of our lives.
You will be remembered, cherished, and missed.
May you have a peaceful rest in the Lord till the resurrection day.
Adieu Daddy!
Your niece
Bosola Folarin-Williams
