Cynthia's obituary

Cynthia Jean Williams was born in and grew up in Cleburne, TX.  She was a loving wife and best friend to Cecil Yates, Jr for 60 years.  She was an adoring mother to her children, Christi and Cody,  an extraordinary mother-in-law to Jeff and Dee, and the greatest Mimi ever to Natali, Zoe, and Ray.

Cindy's interests throughout her life were many and diverse.  As a young girl, she excelled at sports like volleyball and softball, and loved fishing with her father, Jack and her many uncles.  She played the saxophone in the school band, and spent countless hours on her roller skates.

As an adult she was a remarkable bowler and a sensational tennis player, and her skill at winning slots at Winstar was astounding.  She was her family's go-to hair dresser and seamstress.

She loved music, dancing, and laughter.  She was kind beyond measure, loved all of us deeply and unconditionally, and supported us without question.  Her absence in our lives will leave a hole we will never be able to fill.
