Cindy's obituary

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, Cynthia Jane Steger Ellis, loving mother of three and grandmother of seven passed away at age 65 after a short battle with cancer. Cynthia was known to most as Cindy and was loved dearly by everyone who was lucky enough to cross her path. Cindy is survived by three children; Amber Ellis, Sparkle Derr, and Clifton Derr, as well as seven grandchildren; Lexia Derr, Orion Cash, Abagail Key, Layton Derr, Emma Cash, Hunter Randels, and Savanna Randels. Cindy is predeceased by her mother; Barbara Byers and brother; Phillip Steger. To Cindy family included not only blood but bond. Cindy was also a fierce and loyal friend with strong compassion for others. Cindy leaves behind two siblings; Timmy Steger and Sherry Dudley as well as life long friend Marty Thompson. Cindy's passions in life included reading, the beach and family. She was intelligent, wise, caring, and an unwavering force.
