On September 28, 2024, Cynthia (Cyndi) Lynn Morrison went up to the spirit in the sky. She was only 64, but she lived a hundred years of life in that time. She safaried in Africa, snorkeled in French Polynesia, cruised around Alaska, braved countless roller coasters, scuba dived with manta rays, entertained six marriage proposals, watched hundreds of horror movies, stood agape in the Sistine Chapel, met Pierce Brosnan in Kauai, ate cream puffs on the Champs Elysees, won foosball championships, drank boatloads of Pinot Grigio, dreamed of visiting space, made the world’s best potato pancakes, and danced whenever she could. Cyndi leaves behind her daughter Ashley Dennison (Brian Humenik), sister Cheri Morrison, nephew Brandon Jones (Kari), niece Stephanie Johnson (Jamie), niece Lindsey Dionne (Tom), and nephew Elisha Merkley. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia Morrison, father Robert Morrison, sister Christina (Tina) Morrison, and her treasured dogs Penny and Blue. Cyndi passed peacefully and comfortably in Saint Petersburg, Florida after a long, valiant battle with lung and brain cancer. She will be best remembered for her love of adventure, music, travel and great food.
