My heart is heavy for anyone who's lives Miss Cynthia touch. Her children and grandchildren especially. She definitely was a rock for them. Her love and celebration of her grand babies was something for the record books. She was always around with a giant smile and warmth. She leaves this world with amazing people that she helped mold and create. 

Rest now Miss Cynthia. You will be missed.

My fondest memory of her isn't how welcomed she always made me feel. Or how accepting she was of me or anyone  but from a time at a gathering and Skye put me on bacon cooking duty in the kitchen...Miss Cynthia came in the house like what is SHE doing cooking the bacon? She started instructing me how to cook the bacon..of course even though I knew what I was doing...I stood there quietly soaking in her words respectfully. Skye came in and told her I knew what I was doing but she said "well you never can be too sure about some folks" I laughed and Skye laughed but she was too serious...she was never rude about it but she wasn't gonna let me ruin the bacon. Not that day anyways. 

Your presence will be missed by so many but rest assured your hand helped mold so many💜💜💜

My friend, sista from another mother. We worked, played, lived, laughed, loved, reared children, traveled, broke bread and shared many first together. My heart is broken because our time here together is over! I thank God for allowing us time to become friends! To Vince and the Grisby family may God comfort you and give you strength in the days to come.
