Cynthia Marie Fournet departed this life March 12, at the age of 75, after a prolonged illness. She was daughter of the late Lynn Philip Fournet and Thelma Berard Fournet. She will be fondly remembered by her loving children, Michelle Burke Harcher (Radar), Brydie Burke Himel (Patrick), step daughter Ashley Burke Ullstein (Peter) and eight grandchildren.
She is survived by her eight siblings, Lynn Philip Fournet, jr. (Cheryl), Jeffrey Jude Fournet, Lonnie Fournet (Nyla), Charlynn Fournet, Raymond Fournet (Linda), Lillian Fournet Browne (Aundra), Timothy Fournet (Roxanne) and Marie Fournet Guidry (Ory).
She was a dedicated Home Health Nurse, artist and legendary hostess. She was happiest surrounded by those she loved. Cynthia continued her dedication to the medical field by donating her Earthly remains to LSU Medical School.
There will be a private Celebration of Life for close friends and relatives in the near future.
