It is with sad hearts, we say that Cynthia Ann (Benker) White of Thornton, Colorado passed away on May 4, 2025.   Cindy was the 2nd child born to Delbert and Ann (McNett/Morin) Benker on October 3, 1951 in Julesburg, Colorado.   The family moved to Canon City, Colorado in 1963.  She graduated from Canon City High School in 1970.   Cindy lived and worked in Pueblo CO, Spokane WA and Salem OR before moving back to Colorado.  She worked 25 years for Mountain Bell/Lucent Tech/AVAYA, leaving in 2001.

Cindy was a very talented musician and played piano totally by ear at a very young age.   It was something she thoroughly enjoyed doing.

In 1978, Cindy married the love of her life and best friend, Ronald White.  They were married for 43 years when he passed away in 2021.

Cindy was preceded in death by her Parents and husband Ron.  She is survived by two sons, Darren White  in  Thornton, Colorado and Bryan White in Texas, three grand-daughters Hannah, Riley and Aubrey all of Texas.  Her sister:  Sherry Benker Ferner (Larry) in Albany, Oregon and 3 brothers:  Ward Benker (Sidney) in Florence,  Colorado, Miles Benker (Deb) in Spokane WA and Melvin Benker (Jana) in Florence,  Colorado.  Also neices and nephews in Oregon and Colorado.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
