I met Curtiss when I started working at Ames Corporate in Rocky Hill, I could tell he was a character from day one. He helped me get into the Telecom Dept. and we spent many lunches at the Ground Round and many other places for years. My wife and I and Curtiss and Deborah would go out on his birthday for many years and always had a good time. You couldn't hang with Curty and not have fun. I hope he is with GOD and is in a good place, he was a wonderful soul.
I miss you every day buddy 💔❤️‍🩹
A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about you or wish I could talk to you 💔

Too bad he had the demons he had, was a man with a big heart and personality, many memories working for him at Ames in the telecom dept., lots of laughs at the Ground Round for lunch and all the bar hoping. Spent many birthdays with him and Debbie, my wife and I were good friends of them both.
Sorry to here of Curt and his sister Debbie passing.   Our deepest  condolences to the rest of family.  May they rest in peace.       Sharon and Gregory
My wife and I spent several birthdays with Curty and Deborah for dinner and drinks, good memories!
What can I say about this crazy, can do man that I spent 24 years with? We laughed,we cried,we danced, we loved animals and most people! His talents were beyond measure and his sense of humor helped me put things in prospective. I still feel his presence but am missing him every day.
I just found out about Curtiss. I’m so so sad! He helped us renovate our house, but quickly became our friend. He was such a lovely person. Curious, compassionate, smart, and would sing while he worked. The world is missing this warm and wonderful man. ❤️

  1. So sorry to hear the news, he was a great friend for years and had a big heart. You will never be forgotten my old friend. Many good times at Ames and bar hopping. Rest in peace.

We were stunned and saddened to learn of Curtiss's passing. Curtiss was more than a handyman-- he was a home repair wizard. He was hardworking, creative, and reliable, and we had such a sense of security knowing we could call on him for help. More than that, though, he was a good, kind person-- a ten-out-of-ten guy as our son always said. He was certainly that and will be sorely missed. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you for everything, Curtiss.

My heart is broken into a million pieces that I can't imagine will ever heal but each and everyone's kind words and memories of Curtiss bring a small smile to my face. It's a start..... Annie
