Currinann will be so greatly missed. Forever my sister in Christ.

“Friends are friends forever, if The Lord’s the Lord of them.” – M. W. Smith

Dear Tom and Seely Family,

Our hearts, prayers, and sincere condolences go out for all of you upon the loss our your beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother. We have been praying for all of you since we first heard of Currin Ann’s illness on the “Family Ties” prayer list, and accept God’s sovereign decision to take her into the presence of Christ in Heaven.

We first met Tom and Currin Ann in early November, 2013 as “Canadian Snowbirds” in search of a winter church home. Tom and Currin Ann, who were recent members of the “Family Ties” Life Group at First Orlando, were the first people who spoke to us, and greeted us warmly. This was the beginning of a “forever friendship” even though we are no longer spending our winters in Florida.

For the next seven years our winter Sunday “routine” consisted of sitting with Tom and Currin Ann in the morning worship service, attending the “Family Ties” Bible class, which Tom occasionally led, and followed by Sunday lunch with the Seelys and any other friends who wanted to join us at one of the many dining facilities in the area. Being avid dancers, Tom and Currin Ann would often leave for their regular dance class!

Over these years, we got to know the Seelys well and found them to be the same kind, generous, caring followers of Jesus Christ that so many of the other commentors have described. We look forward to joining them again when we all get together at that great wedding feast Jesus described when he was here on earth. Currin Ann, by God’s grace got a head start on the rest of us, and while her absence from the earth is painful for those who remain, His saints will all eventually get there!

“Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15

Sorry she is no longer with you but rejoice she's with Jesus and at peace.

Blessings,

Gilbert

Tom, my heart broke 💔when I read your post. You & Currin Ann will always have a special place in our hearts, with all the memories and ministry with FamilyLife! I remember the first time we met you at the Dallas WTR . . . Currin Ann checked me off as a Resource Co-Ordinator that weekend! May it comfort you to remember that death is not an ending . . . but a beautiful beginning to an eternity with Jesus! Praying for you and your family! 🙏  We’ll join you online for Currin Ann’s Service.

Praying for your family during this time . Jerry and I were so thankful to be in your Sunday School class and grow in the Lord. I will always remember the fun ski trips to Colorado with your family.

To the Seely family, John and I send our condolence's to each of you.

We met  Currin Ann in our College Gardens neighborhood in Rockville, MD., their family had been moved by Tom's job at IBM to Maryland.  Our son Mark, and their son, Tommy,  were the same age and in the same grade, 3rd, I think.  Currin Ann and I volunteered to be the Cub Scout leaders for the neighborhood pack.  It was great fun and lot's of work but Currin Ann made it easy.  She, also, got me to go to Bible Study with her.  She was always perfectly dressed, hair and nails done, and never stressed.  We enjoyed knowing the family and kept in touch through the years after they moved back to Texas and then to Florida.  She was a lovely friend.

I first met her when Betsey Spooner and I joined our class at church!  We also joined our he 3x3 at Tom & Curran Ann’s house!  She was a beautiful lady inside and out! I am so sad she’s gone but know she has met our Savior and will abide with him ! Looking forward to see her in heaven some day!!
I volunteered with Currin Ann at Cru, she was always a ray of sunshine. We worked together many times and she always gave me the best advice. We also spent thanksgiving together since I didn’t have anyone to spend it with. She was always so kind and compassionate towards me. Currin Ann will be deeply missed but let us rejoice knowing she is with Jesus in a place where there is no suffering. I pray that Tom and their family might be consoled and held by the Lord and all His love.

Dear Tom and family,  I am so sorry for your loss.  May our Heavenly Father wrap you in His love.  Jean Foley
God will get you through these difficult days and the good memories will bring the smile back even through the tears.  Prayers for you and your family.
Currin Ann & I were suite-mates at Baylor. We shared many happy times together! We were in each other’s weddings and we remained close friends with her & Tommy over the years. She was a very dedicated Christian, so we know she is in God’s hands, but she will be greatly missed.

Dear Tom & Seely Family,

In Christ, we are comforted by His assurance of a 'prepared place' for Currin Ann.  May you rest peacefully in that knowledge.

Your friend,

Kevin Hazel

Tom, our hearts break.  So sad and heart broken . She was such a wonderful lady and prayer warrior! If there is anything I can do for you. Tom, please do not hesitate to ask.  David and Kay Godfrey
