Cullen was my manager for a few years at Choice Insurance when our agency was first purchased. He went to bat for me seeing that I was grossly underpaid getting me a raise. I enjoyed his quick wit and sense of humor often at my expense LOL but I knew he was just joking. I was not tech savvy and he had to fix my computer quite a few times. His laugh was contagious. He came to my son’s funeral and checked to make sure I was ok in the months to follow. We often discussed our faith and when his sister in-law got sick and then his nephew he reached out to ask me to pray and ask my church prayer warrior team to pray. I was honored that he did. Our last few conversations concerned him becoming “daddy” to a litter of kittens and their momma. He was doing his best to gain their trust and would update me on their progress. My prayers for comfort and peace for the Darling family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Cullen’s passing. Over the past eight years, I had the privilege of working closely with him, and during that time we grew into true friends. We often shared conversations about life, and I will always cherish those moments. Cullen’s humor, kindness, and respect for others left a lasting impression on everyone around him.
We are so sorry for your loss, and our prayers will be with his family during this difficult time. Cullen will be profoundly missed, and his memory will remain with all of us who were fortunate enough to know him.
