Its so sad to see you go. You were one of the first people that I met in rehab and from the first day that I met you I could tell you were special in a good way. You were an amazing person to be around even though I didnt know you for too long. Fly high

Cruise James Tilton Berry, I remember you were the first person that I met when I went to rehab, you were like i leader, a role model at that to me. You are a crazy talented artist, and I wish i could have see you on the news someday because of your skills. Nonetheless death falls upon everyone, sometimes sooner than we would hope. I’m going to miss you buddy, my role model Cruise Berry.
Cruise, I remember just a few months ago when you spoke to me about how I had inspired you to stay sober while we were in rehab. I’ll never forget how you always seemed to lighten the mood, how you touched the hearts of many through the articulation of your words. Most of all you touched me, I vow to never touch opioids again for as long as I live. Not only for you, but for myself. You will always be in my prayers Cruise James Tilton Barry. I love you.

Devastated and heartbroken for Mike and Dee. Rest In Peace Cruise, you are greatly missed.
I had the joy of nannying Cruise for a short time during college. I was completely enamored with that beautiful, brilliant, sweet, funny little boy. I have thought about Cruise often through the years. I am so devastated to hear of his passing. In reading others comments, it sounds like that beautiful little boy set out on a grand adventure of exploration, learning, creativity, friendship, and love. Cramming a lot of life into those 18 years. What a gift he is. Sending my love and deepest condolences, Deann. ❤️

I was Cruise’s mentor while he was in treatment last year. He was nothing short of brilliant. After talking to him for awhile we realized how much we have in common, and that we even attended the same Elementary school. I have never met someone with more intelligence, artistic gifts, and genuine compassion. I wish I could’ve done more to help you Cruise. I told him he was going to accomplish great things in life. hurts to know that he passed, but i’m sure he will be watching over us all with a smile on his face. hope you’re playing the violin in heaven bro. Much love. Rest in paradise!

I’m so sorry for your loss! Sending prayers to you and your family!!!
Cruise was an incredibly brilliant, kindhearted, exceptional person. We were very close in 8th grade and stayed in touch throughout the majority of high school. I will forever treasure our time in Judson's class, where he provided not only me but many of my peers with his innovative perspective on music. I am thankful for his witty takes on communism and our friendly banter over topical situations at our school, music, various YouTubers, and the general human experience. Cruise had the ability to see the world in a lighthearted, creative way; he pursued his passions merely for his own self-fulfillment, never to compete or outshine anyone. There are no words to describe how heartbroken I am. Sending so much love.
Cruise made an orchestral piece of music that we played from our car speakers so that he could play his violin for us in the driveway. It was beautiful and loud and sweet and so joyful to hear. I'm sending my love.
My biggest regret is that I didn’t get to know him more. I only spent a small amount of time knowing Cruise but he was a beautiful person. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

While I don't quite have the words to express my emotions of this loss, I would be remiss to not acknowledge the kind, intelligent, talented, and incredibly beautiful human he was, as well as the positive impact that he had in the lives of many. My heart goes out to his family and friends as they navigate through the days and weeks ahead.
And finally, thank you Cruise, my life is better and richer through knowing you. May you rest in peace. 🛩️🎻❤️
I'm so sorry for the loss of Cruise. I'll always think of him whenever I hear a wonderful violin play ripeace eternally.🎻🙏🏻
DeAnn- My heart is breaking for you. I will hold dear to my heart the memory of watching planes take off and land at the airport with Will and Cruise. I love that they shared that passion. Cruise was a very special person and you are a very special mom.
