Aww so sad to hear of Cris’s passing!! We were her next door neighbors for several years and we often chatted over the fence. She was a kind soul with a great sense of humor and had an enviously green thumb. Our condolences  to her sons and family ❤️

Dear Cris,

I am really taken back to learn of your passing - tho we graduated high school together, it wasn't until recent years that we began communicating and sharing garden and birding info.  I remember how you told me that purple columbine was one of your spring favorites and I sent You lots of seeds; but unfortunately failed to germinate after your planting.  Please know, that I will think of you for my remaining Springs - on this Earth when I see my Purple Columbine bloom!

My condolences to your Family and Friends Cris.

To Crista’s family, you have my deepest condolences.  She was a beloved member of our Tiffin Columbian class of ‘67 and will be missed by all.
I was so sorry to hear about your mom passing. It was an honor to work with Ms. Crista. She was a wonderful person with a sweet soul.

An incredible Intrepid Traveler, birder, kind and compassionate woman. Was so fortunate to have her join in the Journey!

May Crista be at peace, now.

I knew Crista through AFAN.  She graciously took over the Membership Chair when I resigned.  We also played euchre together.  Although we both taught in the Vinton County Schools, we did not cross paths there.

I met Crista when she was membership chair of Athens Friends and Newcomers (AFAN) for a year and I was her assistant.  At first neither one of us knew what we were doing, but we muddled through the learning process together.  I enjoyed getting to know her and we became friends.  I will miss her.

My sincere, heartfelt condolences to the family of Cris Hahn. Cris was a beautiful human being, such a kind and gentle soul. She loved nature and all its glorious wonders.

Cris, you set such a fine example how to live peacefully and with love.  Rest in Peace now dear cousin!

Love, Cathy

Crista was a joy to know. I met her through AFAN, served on the board with her. I especially loved playing euchre with her and so enjoyed her keen wit and laugh. My condolences to her sons and family. She is missed.
