After retiring he and Justine moved back to live on Cape Cod and being an avid golfer loved traveling often to Ireland and eventually they settled on a salt water farm of 30 acres on the Maine coast over looking the harbor of Wiscasset.
He loved the ocean and he loved his dogs, Rosie, Little Bits, Squeaky, Olive and Lillian Langtree Russell and Jack the Russell to name just a few.

There will be a private service in the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta, Maine in honor of his military service and in lieu of flowers it was Creighton's wish that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
