Updates

Update from Nov. 3, 2022

Hi everyone -

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday, Nov. 5th at 1p.

A few reminders:

*Attire for this event is casual. If you would like, you can wear navy blue and/or orange to honor Dod's favorite, Syracuse University Basketball and Football.

*Please be sure to park in the ACE Train parking lot, do not park in the general fairgrounds parking lot. The address for the lot is: 4950 Pleasanton Ave, Pleasanton, CA 94566. There will be a golf cart for those who may need assistance getting to the venue.

*"The Farmhouse" is a building a short walk from the gate, on the right hand side. There should be signage directing you, and the person in the booth at the entrance can assist as well.

We'll see you then.

Update from Oct. 12, 2022

Last Saturday, we said goodbye to our “Dod” with a private burial service. His brother, sister and sons flew in, and we shared a toast and meatballs :-) in his honor, along with funny stories and heartfelt memories.

It was a tough day, but we know his spirit was present, and with us.

We look forward to seeing you as we celebrate Dod’s incredible life, on Saturday, November 5th at 1p, at “The Farmhouse,” at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. See the Event tab for more details, but most importantly, please dress casually in his honor. While optional of course, we are suggesting that people wear navy blue and/or orange to honor his hometown university, Syracuse.
