Craig's obituary

Craig Steeves, born on September 12, 1956, passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 67 at HCA Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL, at 7:00 am after a hard-fought battle with a severe infection.

Craig was the cherished son of Rexford Steeves and Barbara Brown, and the beloved brother of Graham Steeves. He was a devoted husband to Barbara Steeves and a loving father to Craig Steeves II and Brandon Shy. Craig was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

Craig served his country with honor in the United States Army as a paratrooper and a tank mechanic. His dedication and bravery were evident in his military service, and he carried that same dedication into his civilian life.

An avid fisherman, boater, and outdoorsman, Craig found peace and happiness in nature. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for working on automobiles. As a master mechanic, he brought skill, precision, and dedication to his work, earning the respect and admiration of those he worked with.

Craig's legacy is one of devotion, hard work, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
