Craig's obituary

In Loving Memory of Craig Snyder,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Snyder, who left us peacefully at the age of 64 after his journey with dementia. Though the illness touched his final years, it never dimmed the spirit that made him unforgettable.

Craig was the life of every gathering—someone who didn’t just enjoy a good time but created it. He had a gift for bringing people together, whether through a spontaneous party, a holiday feast, or a regular Sunday dinner that somehow always felt like an event.

His laughter—big, genuine, contagious—was one of his trademarks. It could fill a room, light up a dark moment, and make strangers feel like friends. Those who knew him will remember that laugh forever.

Craig is survived by his wife Debbie Snyder, son Kyle Snyder, Stepdaughters Nicole (Greg) Wilhelm and Ashley (Michael) Schmitt, sisters Cindy (Doug) Swindells and Laurie (Jerry) Zibton, and his four grandchildren- Elizabeth, Madelyn, Logan and Ryan. He is preceded in death by his parents Shirley and William, and his daughter Loren. The week of his passing, Loren’s presence was felt at every moment and we know she was there to hold his hand as he peacefully passed with Debbie by his side.

A memorial service will be held on December 5th at Christ Prince of Peace Church. Visitation will start at 9:15am, followed by a memorial service from 10:00am to 11:00.
