Coulter's obituary
Coulter William Mann
December 4, 1990 – November 28, 2025
Coulter William Mann, 34, of Cody, Wyoming, was received into God’s loving embrace on November 28, 2025. His earthly journey has ended, but his spiritual journey continues. Coulter’s passing is a profound loss; he is and forever will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Known for his vibrant approach to life, Coulter believed in living each day to the fullest. His ability to connect with others and share laughter even through his own silent pain was truly remarkable. He will be remembered for his sweet personality, funny quick wit and calm, steady demeanor. He had a rare ability to connect with everyone he met, offering warmth, understanding, and kindness without effort. His presence brought comfort and his gentle spirit left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted follower of The Lord, spending hours of quiet time reading his bible.
Professionally, Coulter was a versatile worker with a range of skills. His dedication to this work was evident in the care and enthusiasm he brought to each role he had.
Coulter was passionate about all things outdoors, finding solace and joy simply by connecting with God’s splendor. He had a keen interest in arrowhead and artifact hunting. He rarely walked among our mountains and valleys without his nose to the ground. He was talented in so many ways and often expressed himself through his woodworking and painting projects.
But among all that he loved, Coulter most dearly loved his son, Carter. “Carter, you are my greatest gift. Though I can’t touch you, my heart holds you forever. Look for me in the stars my little mann, for I am always watching.” They shared many adventures together, from hiking and fishing to camping and boating. He was a proud and devoted father whose greatest joy came from his son, Carter.
The hole is permanent, but in time, the heart will grow larger to soften the wound.
Coulter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Ruth Mann, and John Werner, his uncle Ed Tusa, and aunt Cheri McKenzie.
Coulter is survived by his mother Lisa (Judd) LaRowe, father Gary Mann, sister Alexis Mann, grandmother Marion Smith, his precious son Carter Mann, the love of his life, Alyssa Zeller, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Coulter’s Celebration of Life will be held May 16, 2026 in Thermopolis, Wy. Plans for a local memorial are in progress as well. Further details will be provided as they become available.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund as been dedicated for the benefit of Carter. Honoring Coulter's life and wishes in the most meaningful way
