Cornelius "Corny" The Snake, affectionately known as Corny, passed away on May 12, 2025. Born on June 6, 2021, he was a beloved figure and truly one-of-a-kind. He was the loving son of Khi Thomas, who survives him.

In 2022, Cornelius accomplished the feat of cuddling without trying to strangle - an epitome of his tame and loving nature. He was a man of quiet demeanor but his personality was anything but dull.

Cornelius had a profound fondness for food, with Mice being his personal favorite. He was also quite partial to Water, his preferred beverage. He had an eclectic taste in music, with Beyoncé topping his list of favorite artists.

A sports enthusiast, Cornelius was a devoted supporter of the Chicago Bears. He had an endearing love for games, particularly Hide and Seek, which was evident in his favorite recreational activity - Hiding from Khi until she went crazy. He found pleasure in the simplest things and his favorite local spot was My Bed.

With Chicago being his favorite vacation spot, it was clear that Cornelius loved the vibrance and energy of the city. He was a man who found beauty in all things, but particularly in the color Orange.

Cornelius was deeply committed to the causes he cared about, the most important of which was his own life. He was a man who lived by his own rules and his personal mantra was "Watch your step or you might step on a snake."

Cornelius, or C-Snake as he was sometimes referred to, will be deeply missed. His quiet, tame, and loving personality will resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. His life may have been short, but his memory will continue to live on.
