Corinne was the first teacher I ever had at UVU and I had the privilege to learn from her every semester after. She was exactly the person I needed to be placed in my life at that time and will forever be grateful for the life changing impact she had on me.

She had this amazing way of connecting with each of her students and knowing exactly what each of us needed. She was uplifting and encouraging and made each of us better.

It was a privilege and honour to know and love and learn from her.

I started ballet late at the age of 13 and it was very difficult for me, however Corinne taught me and encouraged me to continue. She told me stories of how she started late too which helped me feel less alone. Then I had an accident where I broke my foot and needed to relearn how to jump, Corinne never gave up on me. As I struggled and had many tears she was there to help me gain strength back and to continue to grow and push myself. Her influence and love in my life has shaped me and helped me grow.

Corinne played the main part …
2010, UVU
Corinne played the main part when RBE performed part of La Sylphide. She did such a lovely job. I always felt peace around her. In the photo, Corinne is sylph in the middle, her’s is the only face you can see. A beautiful person.

I was so privileged to dance …
2011, Las Vegas, NV, USA
I was so privileged to dance with Corinne during my time at UVU. She was always full of light and kindness and seemed wise beyond her years. She was a fierce, beautiful dancer and inspired me so much. I’m so glad she was able to go on to teach and mentor countless others.

I am forever grateful for Corinne. She was my second mom and an incredible mentor. She helped me find my passion, artistry, and love for ballet from a young age. Her love and dedication for each one of her dancer daughters was like nothing else. When a group of us graduated in 2023, we framed a picture we took with her that said “Always Your Daughters” because she cared for us like that. She wasn’t afraid to share her tender testimony, and helped us recognize the gift and power of dance we each had. Corinne was always my cheerleader, especially when I was hard on myself, and shaped me into the person I am today. She was quick to give praise, show love, and encourage. I can’t adequately express how much she changed my life. I’ve always looked up to Corinne and she will be in my heart forever.

Corinne is the teacher and mentor I aspire to be. She was my instructor during my time at UVU and she was the best teacher I have ever had. She was kind, knowledgeable, understanding, fun and one of the loveliest, most beautiful humans I’ve met.

I’ve always wanted to be a dance teacher, and when I met Corinne, I knew that I could be a great one if I only tried to emulate her and her actions.

Corinne was patient with me, encouraged me and believed in me. I am incredibly grateful to her and am blessed that I was able to know her. I am inspired by her and will never forget her.

Thank you, Corinne for being the woman, teacher, mentor, and friend that you were. 🤍

There really are no words to describe the heartbreak I felt when I heard the news of Corinne’s passing. She was the most incredible, dedicated, selfless, loving person I’ve ever known. As one of her many dance daughters, I feel honored that I got to spend every second of my free time with her. She taught me to work hard, love hard, and become a better version of myself. It’s hard to even describe the relationship we had—she was not only like a second mom to me, but also an older sister, a mentor, a friend, and my biggest cheerleader. She saw potential in me that I couldn’t see, and always pushed me to reach higher. I will forever be in awe of the dedication she had to her dancers and feel lucky to be one of them. She continued to cheer me on even past my dancing years. Showing up for my mission farewell, bridal shower, wedding etc.

I will never be able to thank her enough for who she was and how much she impacted my life. She will be greatly missed and remembered for the rest of my life!

I loved dancing with Corinne in college. She was so strong and focused, I always looked up to her even though she was younger than me. Miss you girl!!!

Corinne was my greatest cheer…
2010, Covey Center for the Arts, West Center Street, Provo, UT, USA
Corinne was my greatest cheerleader through the most formative years of my life. It feels wrong that I only have this one photo to capture the many hours and years we spent together in the dance studio. She challenged me and believed in me at times when I didn't believe in myself. Eventually, I got to teach alongside her at TDC and be mentored by her. It all came full circle when I got to teach her sweet daughter Dixie! Probably about three years ago, Corinne and I chatted backstage and she opened up to me about some trials she was facing, and how her greatest desire was to be a strong mother for Dixie. Her example in that moment alone was more powerful to me than any of the years we spent together in the studio. Corinne is a wonderful person, a talented artist, an uplifting mentor, and an incredible mother. She will be greatly missed and I’m so grateful for the impact she had on my life.

She was my ballet teacher along with amazing gals that I still follow and check in online.

Very thoughtful, always pushing me to my limit even when I thought I couldn’t. Hardworking and a light and example to me as a person. I’ve taken and implemented qualities into my life because of her. ☺️💜

Love you Corinne
