Corinna Grimes, 59, lost her battle with lung cancer on April 13, 2023. She passed peacefully in her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Corinna was born to Arthur and Helmi Rhodes in Ingelheim, Germany on February 11, 1964. As a baby, she moved to the United States and grew up in Charles County, Maryland. She graduated from Maurice J. McDonough High School.

She was a lover of fishing, country music, Dr. Pepper, and seafood. She was well known for her beautiful blue eyes and sparkling white teeth. She loved STYX, Lassie, And Randolph Mantooth on Emergency! She also loved to dance and sing. Most of all, she loved the beach and made it her final home.

Corinna is survived by her loving mother, Helmi, her sisters Claudia (Stephen), Helen (Marc), and Maryann (Mike), her three daughters, Heather (Tyler), Silver (Erik), and Isabel, her three grand-daughters, Mackenzie, Caitlin, and Madelyn, and her dog Pippa. She was proceeded in death by her father, Arthur.

A celebration of life will be held at Captain John’s Crab House (16215 Cobb Island Rd, Newburg, MD) on July 16th at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to your local animal shelter or SPCA in her honor.
