It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Corey "Buck" Fowlkes on April 21, 2023. Corey is survived by his devoted mother, Robin Fowlkes, sister, Erin Fowlkes and twin brother, Kyle Fowlkes, brother Rusty Ziegler, nephews, Micah and Kyle Fowlkes, niece, Kiarra Fowlkes, and sons, Corey Jr., Rylan, Corey and Carmelo Fowlkes.  He is also survived by Amy Flansburg, the mother of his children, Rylan and Corey Fowlkes. 

Corey was a hard worker and was employed by the Albany Housing Authority for many years. He also ran a successful sealcoating business. He was a social butterfly with charm and charisma. His presence brought joy and laughter to those around him. 

Corey will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Let us honor his memory by celebrating the moments and connections we shared with him. Rest in peace, Corey "Buck" Fowlkes; you will remain in our hearts forever. 

There will be a celebration of life later this month. Details to follow.
